GO FOR THE DOUBLE! Score on the pitch and on the console

Madrid in Game, an initiative by Madrid City Council, presents a new edition of Esports + Sports, in collaboration with Atlético de Madrid: a competition combining physical and virtual football to promote teamwork, strategy and sportsmanship.

The tournament will follow a 3v3 format, with teams of up to four players competing in both disciplines: football matches on artificial grass pitches and games of EA SPORTS FC 27. Each category will feature a maximum of 12 teams, competing in a group stage followed by knockout rounds to determine the champions.

The competition will feature three age categories: Children, ages 12–15; Junior, ages 16–17; and Senior, ages 18 and over.

The Fan Zone and Atleti Gaming House at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano stadium will host this edition. Football matches will take place on pitches set up in front of the Gaming House, while virtual matches will be played inside. The Madrid in Game mobile unit will also provide an additional free-play area for visitors.

Get your team together, sign up for your age category and show that you can master football on both playing fields!
